Are you a Fan or a player in the game?
Football is such a beautiful game. Twenty two players on the field with the fans cheering or booing(and this happens often for the weaker teams most of the time) from the stands.
The players running around the field to make things happen.
The goalkeepers keeping the ball out from their posts.
The midfielders creating chances for the forwards and the forwards trying to finish the chances off.
Here is the thing about fans, Fans do not care if the whole team was injured before a game.
They do not care if the playing conditions were rough.
The only thing fans have always cared about is winning.
They have the luxury of criticizing players at their will, putting them down when they can and praising them when they feel like it.
Most fans do not know what it takes to get ready for a professional game and most of them do not even understand the technicalities of the game.
All they care about is positive results and entertainment.
But do you know who goes home with the trophies, medals and wins?
The Players.
This applies to life itself, Life is the game and God has given you a role to play, to make an impact in this world, to make things happen with that talent you have or that skill you’ve perfected.
You are never going to live up to your potential if you just keep giving opinions about everything but never actually do something about the situation in your country or location.
The world is possibly in its worst state right now and peoples lives can be saved if you decide to get down from the stands and play.
The Doctors, Entrepreneurs, Engineers,Philanthropists are all players in this game and they try to win as much as they can but they can’t do it alone.
Talk is cheap. What really matters is Action.
I was once a fan or critic always complaining about what could have been done better by the government , my parents but I realised I had a role to play too and decided to play my role in society.
So I’m going to ask you again, Are you a fan or Player?
